The Cactus Blossoms Prep New LP & Tour: Stream First Single ‘Please Don’t Call Me Crazy’

Minneapolis’ The Cactus Blossoms, whose sound is indebted to early rock n’ roll like The Everly Brothers, are set to return with new album Easy Way on March 1 via Walkie Talkie Records. The first single from the record is “Please Don’t Call Me Crazy,” a great little number that really shows off the band’s songwriting chops and harmonies. We’ve got the premiere of a live video of the song, shot at iconic Minneapolis club First Avenue and featuring Mike Lewis (Bon Iver, Andrew Bird) on saxophone. You may have caught The Cactus Blossoms opening for Kacey Musgraves and The Watson Twins, or on David Lynch’s Twin Peaks: The Return, and they’re currently in the midst of a winter residency at St. Paul’s Turf Club. They’ll be on tour this spring, including East Coast dates. They’ll play NYC’s Bowery Ballroom on April 11 and tickets for that show go on sale Friday, January 18.
