Aggie Miller
Biography
Aggie Miller is like if St. Vincent and Sondheim went to Waffle House to split a big bowl of hash browns after seeing the traveling circus’ final performance.
Her first album, self titled, was released in 2024 and followed up by 2 years of establishing a presence in the New York live music scene, and a national tour opening for The Army, The Navy.
The album negotiates the relationships between different iterations of yourself.
It’s about how it hurts to grow out of yourself as you grow into yourself.
It’s about the new york ferry system, seeing things that aren’t there, eating, not eating, feeling inferior to field hockey women, luck, avenue a, leaving, returning to, leaving your city, finding the bottom of your well, assault, compassion for your mother who you are just like, lyme disease, breakfast burritos across the U.S, commonplace objectification, and guilt.
It’s about how lucky we are to be able to care about things.
It’s about loss, of all kinds.
Her upcoming EP turns her inquiries outward, grappling with the constraints that come with being known by someone else.
Aggie Miller is a band made up of Aggie Miller, Teddy O’Mara (production/ guitar), Judah Sweig (bass), and Harry Zucker (drums).
