Skogens Frukter Available Now On Black Vinyl via Pre-Sale Ticket Bundles

Last month, Swedish singer/songwriter Daniel Norgren made his stateside introduction with Skogens Frukter, a limited edition vinyl-only issue on marbled Northern Lights colored vinyl available through Vinyl Me, Please. Today, he announced his first full North American tour this Fall which hits Portland’s Revolution Hall, LA’s Troubadour, Chicago’s Schubas, and NYC’s Bowery Ballroom among others.

In conjunction with the tour announcement, Relix debuted this rousing live video of “Black Vultures,” captured during Norgren’s very first ever U.S. performance at last year’s Pickathon festival in Oregon – https://youtu.be/la_3jyFWvKc

Although his name may be unfamiliar in the US, Daniel Norgren has built a notable career over the past 10 years in his home country and across much of Europe. The combination of a deep catalog and a live show that cuts to the core have been the fuel for a steadily-growing audience where fans are currently lucky to catch him at a venue smaller than 1,000 capacity. A multi-instrumentalist whose live performance includes guitar, piano, harmonica, and accordian, Norgren is joined by longtime music companion Anders Grahn and drummer Erik Berntsson as part of the live band. Norgren’s sound is distinctly homegrown and authentic. His songs are incredibly powerful with a knack for catchy melodies and vocal harmonies that can easily stay around for weeks.

Skogens Frukter is an essential mix of past album favorites like “Are We Running Out of Love?,” “Moonshine Got Me,” and “Everything You Know Melts Away Like Snow” along with previously unreleased “People Are Good,” as well as new ambient tracks “Where Are You Going?” and “Furry White.” Upon its release, NPR Music debuted a live video of “People Are Good,” also filmed at Pickathon.
