[Pitchfork]

The duo has signed to Fat Possum, which plans to release their first new record since 2000

Royal Trux have signed with Fat Possum, which will reissue the band’s digital catalog; eventually, the label will take over the band’s physical catalog, according to a representative. The 10 reissues—which span from their 1988 self-titled debut through 2000’s Pound for Pound—are set to come out this March, April, and May. In addition, beginning this summer, Royal Trux will start recording a new album for Fat Possum, according to a press release. It would mark their first studio LP since 2000.
