Jackie Cohen
Biography
In 2018 internationally ranked San Fernando Valley singer-songwriter Jackie Cohen released her first studio recordings, double EP set Tacoma Night Terror Part 1: I’ve Got the Blues & Part 2: Self-Fulfilling Elegy, to the glee and delight of all. In 2019 she followed up with fully-orchestrated debut full-length Zagg, a summery romp of a record that hits a little diff having seen the sky split. She has spent the better part of the past decade honing her junk and cutting her teeth and singing little human songs all around the blue world, first as Foxygen touring fixture (ingenue on retainer), and a littler later (late-sky era) as a frontman (small in stature, chatty). She has toured the US, UK, & Europe as main support for Weyes Blood, Mac Demarco, Alex Cameron, Adam Green, Molly Burch, Sasami, The Lemon Twigs, and more. She makes all of her records with her famous husband, Jonathan Rado, famous guitarist. She may have even made a new record. Time will tell.
